Infinite Sands

Oh, speak to me, dear sands of desert,


Infinity shifting ‘neath my feet





Oh, speak to me, you cragged mesas,


Whose abundant, eternal soul’s replete





With histories and mysteries –


You who are my sisters, please





Reveal to me your timeless knowledge,


The things that aren’t taught in college





That you and I, dear mesas, sands


Are cupped forever in eternal hands





That gently hold us all together –


We all are one, right now, forever
